Odisha School Admission 2021 For Elementary And Secondary School Begins
The Odisha School and Mass Education Department has kick-started the Odisha school admission 2021 process for elementary and secondary schools. The Odisha school admission process for the academic session 2021-22 accepted between April 27 and May 31, 2021. The admission process will be conducted on all working days from 7 am to 9:30 pm. Parents and students should follow all the COVID-19 guidelines during the Odisha school admission process 2021.

The official notice reads, “New admission into Elementary/ Secondary Classes are to be completed by May 31, 2021. The admission process should be conducted from 7.00 A.M. to 9.30 A.M on all working days. Not more than 5 parents should be allowed at a time to attend school for admission of their wards.”
The government has announced that the headmasters are to ensure that all guidelines issued by the government as precautionary measures such as wearing a mask, social distancing and sanitization are to be strictly followed at the time of admission.
The Government has also decided to promote all students from Grade I to IX to the next class for the academic session 2021-22. Students who want to change their school can obtain a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the present school.
The notice also reads, “For new admission to Class I, information may be collected by Primary school HMs from feeder Anganwadi Centres preferably over telephone/ WhatsApp, etc. The HM will contact the concerned parent/ guardian telephonically. It is reiterated that the presence of students is not at all required for the admission process.”
