Video | At Least 5 Killed At Kabul Airport Amid Chaos: Report
The Taliban’s complete takeover of Afghanistan culminated today in desperate scenes at the airport in the capital Kabul, where thousands of Afghans came running to the tarmac in hope of flying out of the war-torn country. Five people were killed at the airport, news agency Reuters reported. There were reports of sporadic gunfire at the airport. Earlier this morning, US troops did fire in the air in an attempt to disperse the crowd. Several large cargo aircraft of the US Air Force are still parked at Kabul airport.
