Important announcement for all the IIT aspirants who appeared for JEE Mains 2022 this July.
National Testing Agency will close the JEE Main 2022 answer key challenge in a few hours from now on. The agency had uploaded all the right answer keys to JEE Main 2022 exam questions on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. on August 3.

In case there is no resistance from students, or no challenge gets accepted by NTA, consider these published answer keys as final and students will be judged on them only. Once answer keys are finalized by NTA, the next step is the announcement of the final result.
So, if you are willing to challenge some of the answer keys presented by them, now is the time.
How to challenge JEE Main 2022 answer key?
Here are all the steps you need to follow to challenge (and if successful, change) the answer keys of questions asked in JEE Main 2022 exams.
- Click the link https://jeemain.nta.nic.in OR paste it into a browser and press ‘Enter’
- Click on ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’ button
- Log in with your credentials like Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
- Now click again on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ button
- Next to every question ID, You’ll find the correct answer key. If you think some of it is wrong and want to challenge it: move ahead
- Select the number of question IDs you want to challenge.
- For challenges to be successful, you may want to add supporting documents. Go to ‘Choose File’ and submit. Make sure all the supporting documents are merged into a single pdf file.
- Click on ‘Save your Claim’ and move to make the payment. Remember, every challenge will cost you a non-refundable 200 rupees.
Why should you challenge JEE Mains Answer Key?
In case you think your answer – not the one published by NTA – is the right one, challenge with sufficient proofs attached. Get it changed. Otherwise, you might lose marks and maybe a coveted seat in IIT for being lazy and unaware.
Just to let you know, over 6.2 lacs students appeared for JEE Mains online exam in the last week of July 2022.
