There are 3 different categories for the counselling process:
- Special Reservation Counselling
- General Academic Counselling
- General Vocational Counselling
TNEA 2022 General Academic Counselling Schedule
The general and government school studies counselling will be conducted in four rounds. They will take place from August 25 to October 23, 2022
- Round 1: Registrations to kick start on August 25 for ranks 1 to 14524 and the provisional allotment list will be released on September 9.
- Round 2: Registration will start on September 9 and the provisional allotment list will release on September 23.
- Round 3: Registration to begin on September 23 and the provisional list will release on October 9
- Round 4: Registration to commence on October 9 and the provisional list will be out on October 23.
TNEA 2022 Special Reservation Counselling Dates:
Only a single round of counselling is to take place for Special Reservation category students.
- Registration is scheduled to begin on August 20.
- The provisional allotment list will release a day later on August 21.
- Registration for General Special Reservation counselling will begin on August 21 and the provisional allotment list will be released on August 24.
TNEA 2022 General Vocational Counselling Dates:
Only a single round of counselling is to take place for General Vocational category students.
- Registration for vocational general and government school studied vocational counselling is scheduled for August 25 for which the allotment list will be released on September 9.
